Beach

At Irgul Point the shoreline trends southeast following the bend in the outer recurved spit. Beach NT 409 begins at the point and runs for 1.8 km as a curving east-facing beach, to a low section of coastal plain. The narrow, low energy beach is backed by beach ridges, then the low bluffs of the plain, with scattered mangroves along the beach.
