Beach

Beach NT 1469 is located between the next two creek mouths. It is a narrow, eroding 3 km long spit backed by a small meandering tidal creek which drains to the east and then Pleistocene spits and ridges. Ridged sand flats widen off both creek mouths to more than 1 km off the eastern creek, narrowing in the centre of the beach.
