Beaches 1390 and 1391 are two 100 m long pockets of high tide sand lying at the base of 20 m high bluffs fronted by 50 to 100 m wide platforms. A main track and fence line terminates above 1390.

General

A 4WD accessible section of coast, with variable access to the calcarenite dominated beaches. All are dominated by the intertidal platforms and high surf, with strong rips seaward of the platforms. None are suitable for swimming, with even the occasional calmer inner tidal pool usually connected to seaward-flowing rips.
