Beach

On the other side of the rocks at KI-186 is beach KI-187, a straight, 240 m long, north facing beach, backed by a farm house. It receives waves averaging about 1 m, which break across an 80 m wide continuous bar, with rips only forming against the boundary rocks and headlands during higher waves.

 

Swimming

All four beaches are relatively safe during normal low waves, with rips forming during higher waves.

 

Surfing

Only when the waves are up, and even then, only a beach break.

 

Fishing

Excellent spots off the bordering rock platforms.

 

General

Four small beaches surrounded by private farm land.
