Beach
Beach T 826 is a 50 m long pocket of sand bordered by wave-washed rocks extending 70 m seaward into the inner reaches of the 500 m wide surf zone. Waves averaging over 1 m break at the outer end of the rocks and roll into the beach, with a narrow rip draining out the small gap. A small blowout then vegetated dune-draped rocks back the beach. Beach T 827 is located 100 m to the north and is a 60 m long pocket of sand bordered by broken rocks extending 50 m into the surf and continuing as a reef 150 m into the wide surf zone. The reef lowers waves slightly at the beach, with usually reflective to low tide terrace at the shore. It is backed by an active 100 m wide sheet of sand, which links behind the rocks to the rear of beach T 828. This beach is located 50 m to the north and has a 70 m long shoreline bordered and interrupted by rocks both on and off the beach. Waves break heavily over the outer rocks, with the surf zone continuing 500 m offshore. A single rip drains the rock-dominated small embayment. The backing dunes extend up to 100 m inland almost reaching the vehicle track.
