Western Beach is a narrow beach located below The Esplanade and its foreshore reserve, between Griffiths Gully Jetty and the Western Beach Motor Boat Club. A walkway and bike track run behind the low, narrow beach.

Swimming

The beach slopes gently into the calm waters of the Bay, with depth dependent on the tide.

Surfing

None.

Fishing

Better off the jetties than the shallow beach.

General

A quiet beach backed by Geelong's foreshore reserve, and bordered by jetties and boat activity.
