A picnic area, boat ramp and a second camping area are situated just before the 10 m high bluff section. On the south side of Red Bluff are another boat ramp and the yacht club, with several wooden groynes crossing the crenulate beach. The southern 3 km are part of Point Edward Wildlife Reserve and are backed by Swan Bay.
