Beach WA 737 is the main bay beach and trends southeast for 1.5 km to a series of low granite rocks. Waves average less than 1 m and calm conditions are common. During higher swell, waves break across a narrow bar, which may be cut by beach rips towards the eastern end of the beach. The small Eagle Bay settlement is located behind the western end of the beach, with the Eagle Bay Road running along the back of the beach to Point Picquet, and a few car parks between the road and the beach.
