Beach

Mettams Pool is located at the southern end of a crenulate 500 m long beach (WA 849) where it is afforded protection by calcarenite reefs. The beach is backed by the vegetated bluffs and fronted by an irregular 50-100 m wide platform-reef, which generates the irregularities in the shoreline. The road backs the bluffs, with a large car park cut into the bluffs behind the northern section of the beach
