On the southern side of Jemibut Point is a 60 m wide gap in the jagged rocks, backed by a curving sand and cobble southeast-facing reflective beach (NSW 630). The rocks and reefs extend 200 m offshore and lower waves to less than 1 m, which surge up the steep beach face. It is backed by steep slopes rising to 40 m.
