Beach NSW 696 commences at the western tip of the point and curves to the east in two 100 m long arcs, tied in the centre to a linear rock reef, together with rocks and reefs to either end. The old whaling station is located on the bluffs 100 m south of the beach. Beach NSW 697 occupies the next rocky bay 100 m to the east. It is a curving 110 m long reflective sand beach with three linear reefs running off the beach and a 30 m long western section of the shore free of reefs. It is backed by densely vegetated slopes rising to 30 m, with the road 60 m to the south. Beach NSW 698 is another 100 m to the east and is a straight 170 m narrow steep reflective sand beach, fronted by several linear rock reefs, with just a couple of small patches of clear sand. Vegetated slopes rise to 30 m at the western end of the beach. Beach NSW 698S commences immediately to the east and curves to the southeast for 150 m to a 30 m long rocky section that separates it from Fisheries Beach.
