Saltwater Creek flows into a 1 km wide east-facing rocky bay containing two beaches (NSW 707 & 708). The northern beach (NSW 707) is 100 m long and faces southeast down the bay. It is moderately protected by rocks and reefs and receives waves averaging less than 1 m, which usually surge up a steep reflective beach. It is bordered and backed by densely vegetated slopes, and accessible along the coastal walking track from saltwater Creek.
