Bittangabee Bay is a 200 m wide 1 km deep, winding funnel-shaped bay, which terminated at the well-protected mouth of Bittangabee Creek. On the south side of the bay, near the creek mouth, is a protected northeast-facing 50 m long bare sandy beach (NSW 709), lying across the mouth of a small creek and lagoon. The bay can be reached by car off the Cape Green track, and a camping area is located just behind the beach. The beach is usually calm and the sheltered bay is a popular anchorage for passing yachts.
