Beach NSW 715N is located 100 m north of and around the rocks from Jane Spiers Beach. It consists of an up to 80 m long pocket of sand wedge in two gaps in the bordering and backing 30 m high cliffs. It faces southeast receiving waves averaging up to 1.5 m, which maintain permanent rip against the northern rocks. Be very careful if exploring this area as hikers can be trapped on the rocks by waves and rising tides. The main Jane Spiers Beach (NSW 715) continues south-southwest for 1.5 km to the next rocks. It is an exposed southeast-facing sand beach backed immediately by densely vegetated slopes rising to 200-300 m, with five gullies and a creek reaching the beach. Waves averaging 1.5 m maintain a usually detached bar cut by rips every 200-300 m (Fig. 4.437). At the southern end of the beach is a 150 m long partly sand covered rock platform, to the south of which is a slight indentation on the backing slopes containing beach NSW 715S. This sand and rock beach continues southwest for 270 m to a blunt 50 m high headland. It is a narrow high tide beach partly covered by rocks, with the bar and rips continuing alongshore.
