On the south side of Bay Cliff, Wonboyn Beach (NSW 711) curves gently to the southwest for 4.2 km, past a usually blocked small creek to the southern rocky shore. A 3 km long 4WD track leads from the small settlement of Wonboyn Lake to the northern Bay Cliff with another to the southern end of the beach. The beach receives waves averaging 1-1.5 m, decreasing slightly to the south. These combine with the fine to medium beach sand to produce a wide beach and surf, containing one bar, usually attached to the beach, but cut by rips every 200-300 m.
Beach Length: 4.2km
General Hazard Rating: 6/10
