Whiting Beach (NSW 444) lies at the base of an 80 m wide, 300 m deep, rocky bay with a sandy floor. The low 50 m long south-facing sand beach is backed by a waterfall and densely vegetated slopes rising to 50 m. The next small bay 300 m to the west is called Bullocks Hoof (NSW 445) and contains a 20 m long pocket beach composed of sand and gravel.
