Little Bay (NSW 279) is a curving 200 m long, southeast-facing beach located immediately south of Toowoon Bay to which it is connected by a sandy tombolo. While it faces the south wave break on a continuous reef that extends 200 m offshore, resulting in low waves at the beach, resulting in a steep reflective beach.

Swimming

These are three moderately sheltered beaches receiving usually low waves, with surf club monitoring all three.

Surfing

When the waves exceed 2 m when the Blue Bay reefs start working, while in Toowoon Bay the northern and southern reefs providing rideable waves up to 2 m.

Fishing

The bays attract bream and whiting, while the rocks are fished for luderick, blackfish and mulloway.

General

Rocky shore extends 500 m south of The Entrance to the mouth of a 700 m wide rocky embayment containing two curving beaches (NSW 277 & 278), with a third bay containing NSW 279.
