Beach NT 1407 commences on the southern side of the creek and trends south for 1.2 km to a low red laterite outcrop. The low energy beach is protected by the inlet tidal shoals, with coral reef flats increasing in width from 200 m to 500 m. It is backed by a 200 m wide grassy beach ridge plain.
