Honeymoon Bay (MOR1) lies immediately south of North Point and is backed by 15 m high bluffs, that permit easy access across the base of the point from backing Yellow Patch Beach. The beach is 50 m long and wedged in between rock platforms, together with some large rock outcrops on the beach. It faces east and receives waves averaging 1 to 1.5 m. These maintain a small high tide beach fronted by a small inner bar, cut by rips against the rocks, then a trough and an outer bar, also cut by the rips 100 m off the beach.
