Ricketts Road runs to another small, 100 m long beach (1499) that is partially backed by private property, with access from the road down a small creek drainage easement on the north side of the beach. The beach has a narrow, high tide cobble and boulder beach fronted by an 80 m wide, low gradient sand bar that covers some of the bordering basalt boulders. There are a few tidal pools on the northern boulder flats.
