Cooper Point protrudes 2.5 km to the east from the southern end of Rocky Point Beach. Along the base of its steep, densely vegetated slopes is a strip of sand and metamorphic rocks that comprises the three beaches. The three all lie within Ella Bay National Park and are undeveloped, with no vehicle or foot access and no facilities. Cooper Point (2) (758) is a curving, 700 m long, north-east facing beach, bordered by large rock outcrops, together with clumps of rocks along and off the beach. It receives slightly higher waves, has a steep beach face and a shallow low tide bar grading to shoals.
