Pilgrim Sands is the name of a small tourist settlement and private camping area in lee of this beach. The access road reaches the beach on the north side of a cobble and mangrove-fringed creek mouth. The beach extends north for 1.5 km from the small creek. It is narrow at high tide, wedged in between steep, vegetated slopes and a fringing coral reef, with reef increasing northward. At low tide the beach widens and the reef flats are exposed.
Beach Length: 1.5km
General Hazard Rating: 2/10
