Rocky Point (Daydream) forms the southern boundary of its long neighbour, Wonga Beach. The point is the southern extent of the Dagmar Range and elevations of 100 to 200 m are reached within a few hundred metres of the coast. The Daintree Road is forced to hug the shoreline. Immediately below the 2 km long, winding point and road is a narrow, crenulate, sandy high tide beach, interspersed with rocks and fronted by a wider low tide beach and rock flats. Toward the southern end is a good concrete boat ramp and a groyne to shelter it from the Trade winds and waves.
Beach Length: 2.2km
