Clump Point is a low, 1.5 km long finger of rock, reef and mangroves that forms the southern end of Bingal Bay and the northern boundary of Mission Beach. Lying to the north of the point are the very low energy Clump Point Beach and the longer Narragon Beach.
Narragon Beach (782) is a 1.1 km north-north-east facing beach lying on the northern side of protruding Clump Point. The Bingal Bay Road runs the length of the beach and, because of its protected nature, there is a jetty toward the southern end of the beach that services the boats and ferries that transport tourists to Dunk Island and the reef. The beach receives waves averaging less than 0.5 m that surge up the high tide beach, while at low tide an 80 m wide low tide bar is exposed.
Beach Length: 1.1km
