At the southern end of Ramsay Bay Beach is a small, rocky headland, beyond which is a lower energy, low, 200 m long beach, called Ramsay Bay (south) (811). The beach curves around to face almost due north and is bordered on both sides by low, granitic headlands. Due to the low waves and finer sand, together with groundwater draining across the beach, it is almost awash at high tide, with a low, 50 to 100 m wide bar at low tide.
Beach Length: 0.2km
General Hazard Rating: 3/10
