Archer Point is a conical 60 m high headland capped by an automatic lighthouse. Below the steep, grassy northern slopes is a 100 m long sand and gravel beach, fringed by rocks and boulders, and fronted by a small coral reef. There is a steep 4WD track down to the beach, which is used for camping and launching boats at high tide.

Usually calm with best conditions at high tide. The reef is right off the beach.

Fishing

Used for launching boats, with the best shore fishing off the beach or rocks at high tide.

General

A small, accessible beach popular with local fishers because of its protected northern orientation.
