Walker Point is a finger-like, 20 m high headland that protrudes east for 300 m. It forms the northern boundary of a 1 km wide, open bay, within which are three small beaches occupying 350 m of the 1.5 km of rocky bay shoreline. The northern beach (652) is a 50 m long pocket of sand lying beneath the southern side of the headland. It is awash at high tide and fronted by sand flats and reef at low tide.
