Forsberg Point lies at the eastern tip of a steep ridge that climbs steeply to 330 m granite-capped Bald Hill, 1 km to the west. On the south side of the point is a 250 m long, low energy beach, that grades into mangrove-covered tidal flats. The beach is backed by low, tree-covered flats, has a few scattered mangroves at its base, and is fronted by sand, then reef flats extending 500 m seaward. The flats lower wave height to about 0.1 m at high tide.
