The coast from Rocky Point to Red Rock is 3 km in length and consists of a rocky shore containing four east facing, steep, sandy beaches. All four are exposed to waves averaging 0.5 to 1 m and all are dominated to varying degrees by low tide rips. There is access to the coast at Rocky Point, where there is a small housing subdivision immediately south of the point, as well as 4WD access to all the beaches.
Beach 1481 lies to the south of the houses and is a 250 m long, rock-bound beach, with rocks also outcropping in the centre to produce a crenulate sand and rock shoreline. The high tide beach is relatively steep and narrow with a 50 m wide low tide bar. Rips form along the rocks during high waves. There is 4WD access to the southern point, where there is an informal camping site behind the beach.
Beach Length: 0.25km
