Along the north side of 80 m high Bustard Head are two small pockets of sand. Beaches 1458 and 1459 are both 50 m long, face north-west and are bordered by bare, sloping rocks. They both have a narrow high tide beach and a 50 m wide low tide bar, with some rock reefs off the beaches. They are backed by the wooded slopes of Bustard Head.
