Green Hill is a 50 m high hill that is surrounded by a number of beaches. Between the hill and the coast is a relatively new residential development containing about 100 housing sites. There is an 11 km long, sealed (then gravel) road from Ibibie on the highway to the settlement. This road provides access to five of the six beaches in this area. Beach 1184 begins on the southern side of the 50 m wide creek and runs for 2.5 km south to the mouth of the larger Hall Creek, that runs out along the side of a 2 km long headland. This beach is backed by a 500 to 600 m wide series of ten densely vegetated foredune ridges, with the two creeks linking to surround the beach with creeks and high tide flats. However, there is vehicle access across the high tide salt flats to the beach. Sixty metre high Mosquito Hill lies 2 km west of the beach.
Beach Length: 2.5km
