South of Salonika the next 5 km of coast is dominated by the rocks of 20 m high Point Victor and the slopes of 160 m high Mount Hayden. Two small creeks drain to the coast and each has a small sandy beach at its mouth. Both beaches are backed by densely vegetated valleys and slopes and access is restricted to private vehicle tracks to Mick Ready beach. The second beach is accessible around the rocks from the southern headland, where there is street parking at Grasstree beach, located about 200 m east. Beach 1138 is a smaller version of Mick Ready; just 120 m long and bordered by rocky headlands. It has a narrow high tide cobble beach, then a sandy low tide bar with rock flats to either side.
Beach Length: 0.12km
General Hazard Rating: 2/10
