Between Genesta Bay and The Inlet, inside Repulse Bay, is over 25 km of rugged and rocky shoreline. In several small indentations in the shore and at the mouths of a few small creeks are ten boulder beaches totalling about 2.8 km in length. Most of the beaches are exposed to Trade wind waves and all are difficult, even dangerous, to land on when the Trades are blowing. Beach 1037 consists of two adjoining pockets of boulders located 500 m on the northern side of Cape Conway, totalling 150 m in length. A small creek is dammed behind the longer southern section and its lagoon contains a few mangroves. The dense vegetation behind the beach has been blasted and shaped by the strong Trade winds.
Beach Length: 0.6km
General Hazard Rating: 4/10
