Sabina Point is the most prominent headland in the southern half of Shoalwater Bay. It protrudes 700 m north-east into the bay, but is only 10 m high. Extensive intertidal rock flats lie bayward of the point, while two sandy beaches (1290, 1291) and fronting tidal flats lie to either side. A vehicle track reaches the point where there are a couple of old fishing shacks; otherwise there are no facilities. Rocky Creek beach (1291) runs for 700 m south of the creek mouth to the mouth of a larger creek and more dense mangrove-covered tidal flats. It faces east but is a more protected, lower energy beach. Mangroves are scattered over the tidal flats and a low, vegetated beach ridge backs the beach.
Beach Length: 0.7km
