Alligator and Stanage Bays are the next two bays south of the eastern Arthur Point headland. The two bays face north-east and are backed by mainly cleared, gently rising land, with the main Stanage Bay Road running less than 1 km west of the two bays, providing road access to each.
Beach 1254 lies at the northern end of Alligator Bay and consists of a 400 m long, discontinuous, relatively steep high tide beach, backed and surrounded by jagged rocks and fronted by irregular intertidal rock flats and reefs. There are a few houses on the backing bluffs that overlook the adjoining main Arthur Point beach.
