Arthur Point is the northernmost point of the peninsula. It is a 30 m high conical hill, backed by a second larger, 100 m high hill. Two small beaches lie to either side of the point, with the coast to the east containing a series of sandy beaches well down into Shoalwater Bay. Beach 1253 lies out on the tip of the eastern headland and consists of a 150 m long high tide beach fronted by 100 m wide rock flats at low tide. The beach is backed by a 30 m high conical hill, with a smaller grass-topped rock-stack located on the rock platform and cut off from the shore at high tide.
