South of Cape Manifold Beach the coast continues roughly due south and consists of prominent, 80 m high headlands separating a series of five boulder and sand beaches. All beaches and headlands are backed by the massive, now vegetated parabolic dune field.
Beach 1353 is a kilometre further south of 1352. It faces east, is bordered by 60 to 80 m high headlands and backed by steep, rising, vegetated slopes, together with some rock outcrops on the upper beach. A creek drains across the southern half and a 4WD track descends down the slopes on the southern side of the creek. The entire beach is almost awash at high tide, while a low gradient intertidal to low tide bar extends 200 m across the beach at low tide. Up to eight rips cut across the end of the bar, with a second bar often located just offshore.
