Cocoanut Point beach (1382) lies immediately north of the point and is bounded by the point and a low, rocky outcrop that occupies the high tide beach. It is a 300 m long continuation of the main beach, however the tidal channel lies just off the southern rocks, truncating the sand flats and producing a deep channel and strong tidal currents at low tide. The beachfront houses terminate overlooking the northern end of the beach, with parking and access to the northern end from the street.
