South of Cattle - Eleanor Creeks down to the mouth of Hencamp Creek at Balgal is 24 km of lower energy, north-east facing, crenulate shoreline, consisting of occasional creek mouths, narrow high tide beaches and extensive sand (and increasingly rocky) tidal flats. This section of coast is slowly being developed, with fishing shacks along the beach north of Crystal Creek and a newer development on the north side of Hencamp Creek.
Ollera Creek Beach (838) extends from the mouth of Ollera Creek for 5.5 km to the small Hencamp Creek mouth. The narrow beach initially faces north-east and swings around to face north, then east, at Hencamp Creek. There is a new development at Hencamp Creek mouth, which can be reached by turning off the highway at the Kinduro railway siding.
Beach Length: 4km
