Mount Bruce (also known as Mount Stuart) is the 280 m high, conical twin of Mount Curlewis. It dominates the south-eastern corner of the bay and stands out boldly, as it is surrounded by water and low-lying salt flats. Only Dingo Beach to the east links it to the mainland. The mount has five near-continuous beaches around its base. There is 4WD access across the tidal flats and via Dingo Beach to both sides of the mount, but only a solitary shack on the western beach.
Mount Bruce spit (937) is a 400 m long spit of essentially unvegetated sand that forms occasionally at the mouth of the tidal Mount Stuart Creek. The spit deflects the creek mouth to the west and is tied to the western base of the mount. It has a narrow, moderately steep high tide beach, fronted by extensive tidal shoals.
