Swamp Bay (1024) is, as the name suggests, a low energy embayment at the junction of the Pioneer Point spur and another point called The Beach. The north facing bay has a narrow high tide beach composed of coral rubble and cobbles, fronted by a 500 m wide rock flat that is studded with mangroves. A 3 km long walking track from the Shute Harbour Road leads to the beach, where there is a water tank and bush camping is allowed.
Beach Length: 0.3km
General Hazard Rating: 1/10
