East of Earlando the shoreline is dominated by four protruding wooded ridges that extend up to 4 km toward the north-north-east, with equally deep Double and Woodwark bays in between. The 50 km of shoreline contain ten beaches totalling only 4 km; all are dominated by the presence of rocks on the beach or in the fronting tidal flats, as well as being bordered by rocky shores and headlands. Datum Rock beach (1005) lies on the opposite shore of the bay and is similar in length and character, except it faces the other direction and contains a single shack. It is also fronted by a small fringing coral reef, which provides a more protected anchorage off the beach.
Beach Length: 0.2km
