East of Earlando the shoreline is dominated by four protruding wooded ridges that extend up to 4 km toward the north-north-east, with equally deep Double and Woodwark bays in between. The 50 km of shoreline contain ten beaches totalling only 4 km; all are dominated by the presence of rocks on the beach or in the fronting tidal flats, as well as being bordered by rocky shores and headlands.
Woodwark Bay lies immediately east of Double Bay and is a 3 km wide, 5 km deep bay that contains four low energy beaches. Beach 1007 is a 150 m long sand and rock flat, with a few mangroves on the rocks, and coral reef paralleling the beach.
