The Beak is a 1.5 km long, 70 m high, densely wooded headland. Its predominantly rocky shore houses three beaches along its more exposed northern shore, as well as a more sheltered southern beach. There is no vehicle or formal land access to any of the beaches.
Beach 1026 is only 60 m long and is wedged in between two rocky points.
