Beach F-13 is the first of the sand beaches that dominates much of the western side of the Island and begins 3 km north of the southern point. It is a 1.1 km long southwest facing moderately exposed beach, containing a 100 m wide surf zone usually cut by five rips, and backed by stable dunes, including clifftop dunes behind the northern half of the beach which extend up to 400 m inland. It is bordered by granite platforms and boulders.
