The main bay beach (26) occupies most of the bay extending is a semi-circle for 2 km to a prominent sandy cuspate foreland. It is backed by patchy stable and unstable dune systems up to 300 m wide, while the beach has a low gradient and a 30 to 50 m wide continuous bar, which is cut by a few rips during and following higher waves. Usually wave average between 0.5 to 1 m. Vehicle tracks run through the dunes with several beach access points.
