Cape Northumberland (W 1) beach (16) is 400 m long and backed by steep 20 m high bluffs. There is a large car park above the centre of the beach and a steep sandy track down to the steep, narrow beach. The beach is fronted by rocks and reef flats. The second beach (17) is 900 m long with four parking areas behind the beach. The beach is up to 30 m wide, backed by low sand dunes, and fronted by rock flat and some sand patches for swimming. Finger Point beach (18) is 650 m long, with a car park at the eastern end and the sewer outlet at the western end. Rock flats front the entire beach, with waves increasing toward the western end.
