A small drain separates this beach from the 3 km long crenulate cobble beach (35) that extends west to the low Pelican Point, anther distinctive series of up to 20 cobble ridges, which if fact extends 900 m inland from the tip of the point. A half a dozen houses occupy the eastern side of the point.
