On the northern side of the point are beaches 1002 and 1003. Beach 1002 is an irregular 250 m long beach, containing three sand arcs formed in lee of rock outcrops, while beach 1003 is a slightly curving 160 m long sand beach, backed by steep 40 m high bluffs and fronted by shallow reefs extending 300 m offshore.
