Immediately north are beaches 966 and 967 two similar 300 m long, bluff bordered and backed beaches, with jagged rock platforms off the headlands. A 4WD track winds through the backing blufftop dunes to provide access to the rear of the beaches. Both have 100 m wide surf zones dominated by permanent headland controlled rips.
